Long before us,
The land and the ocean
Witnessed
Every dawn and dusk…
In dialogue with the southern coastal landscapes of Sri Lanka, this work engages with terrains shaped by time and erosion held not just as land, but as living bodies carrying memory and change. Using natural materials gathered from these spaces, each mark becomes a quiet encounter. The process is slow and intuitive, guided by listening rather than control, allowing the work to emerge through a shared rhythm between hand and earth. Erosion becomes both material and metaphor. As the land shifts and reforms, I recognize the same within myself an ongoing softening, undoing, and gentle becoming.

In the darkness without fear
